NFL Week 4: Giants at Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings have surprised the NFL by jumping out to a 3-0 start. When you consider the fact that the Vikings have lost both Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson to injuries, the perfect start to the season seems that much more impressive.
The New York Giants will travel to the Twin Cities to play the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on ESPN’s edition of Monday Night Football. The Giants are 2-1 and future hall of fame quarterback Eli Manning will lead the Giants offense as they look to ruin the Vikings perfect record.
The Vikings have quietly assembled one of the top defenses of the NFL. Considering the fact that the Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl win last year was attributed to their stifling defense, many teams are trying to follow in their footsteps.
The Vikings look to do just that as the Giants will put the Viking’s defense to the test. With receivers like Victor Cruz, O’Dell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Sharpe, the Giants have one of the most potent passing games in the entire NFL.
Believe it or not, the sportsbooks have listed the Vikings as the home favorites. The point total is staying steady at 43 ½, however, the line has moved in favor of the Vikings as the week has progressed. In fact, the Vikings started out as the 3 ½ point favorite; the line has now creeped up to 4 ½ in favor of the Vikings.
