Giants Superbowl Betting
The below picture is from Super Bowl 40 when the Giants defeated the New England Patriots back in 2008. Below you will see Eli Manning, Giants coach Tom Coughlin, and of course Terry Bradshaw who is all up in the video like a rap producer. Fast forward 4 years later and we have the same teams fighting in the 2012 Super Bowl XLVI 46. Will this be the same outcome, or will Tom Brady and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick seek revenge?
It is hard to bet against experience. The Patriots have been to the Super Bowl more times than the Giants have ridden the L train. The Patriots have proven themselves and if you remember from Super Bowl 40 that the Patriots controlled a lot of that game and the shirts were getting sewn to say Patriots Super Bowl Champions, not Giants. If it wasn’t for the Eli Manning and David Tyree fluke, would we have been talking about how this Super Bowl is going to be such a tight matchup, would Eli Manning even still be on the Giants? Only Vince Lombardi knows and his spirit will tell us in due time. Actually, in less than 24 hours we will know if the Giants are for real or not. The Giants go into Super Bowl 46 at +3 point underdogs yet what scares me is that everyone is betting on them, and I think I might too.
