NFL Week 10 Cowboys Falcons
The Dallas Cowboys will be trying to win their fourth straight game when they travel to the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta to take on Matt Ryan and the Falcons. The game is scheduled to start at 4:25 PM. ET.
Prior to the start of the season, the week 10 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons was expected to be an NFC Championship Game preview. Now that half of the games have been played, it looks more like a game between two teams just trying to make the playoffs.
The Cowboys have fought their way back from a slow start, but there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the team because of the ongoing Ezekiel Elliott saga.
Elliott has been fighting his six-game suspension since the start of the season and has seen the suspension lifted and reinstated too many times this season. A last minute stay allowed him to play on Sunday against the Chiefs, but his status for this game remains in limbo as a panel of judges is set to hear his case during the week.
Despite the uncertainty, Elliott has been playing well in the past four games, and is starting to look like the runner that led the league in rushing last year. If he plays, expect the Cowboys to feed him a lot, especially after the Falcons gave up over 200 rushing yards to the Panthers on Sunday.
NFL Week 10 Betting Picks and Predictions
The Falcons have lost four of their last five games and are in danger of missing the playoffs after falling behind the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers in the NFC South.
Matt Ryan has been forced to carry the load offensively with the running game’s inconsistency this year. Defensively, the Falcons have been average, allowing 21.7 points per game, which is 15th in the league. However, their high-scoring offense has been MIA for most of the season so their defensive efforts have been wasted on numerous occasions.
The Falcons are favored to win this game by 3.5. The over/under on total points scored is not yet available.
Atlanta currently has the advantage because of Elliott’s predicament. Even if Elliott isn‘t playing, take the Cowboys +3.5.
