2016 NFL Betting Odds for Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are a team that appears ready to make a run for the playoffs in 2016. They will have to show improvement over last season if they want to overcome the New England Patriots and the New York Jets in the AFC East. The Bills were a solid 8-8 last year, but still finished two games behind the Jets, who fell just short of a wild card birth themselves.
Head Coach Rex Ryan may very well be on the hot seat heading into this season. Despite great success at his previous stops, Ryan has been unable to get the Bills into the playoffs so far in Buffalo. Expectations will be high this year.
Ryan will need a big season from quarterback Tyrod Taylor in order to make the postseason. The young quarterback has shown flashes of being great with his big arm and 4.4 speed. He finished last season with more than 3000 passing yards and nearly 600 yards rushing. With a year of starter experience under his belt, the Bills are hoping for big things from Taylor in the upcoming season.
The sportsbooks are giving the Bills only a 45/1 chance of winning this years Super Bowl. That said the Bills should be a much improved team considering their off-season moves and expectations will be very high for the season.
