Pittsburgh Steelers: 2016 Super Bowl Betting Odds
The Pittsburgh Steelers were quite possibly one injury away from the Super Bowl last year. The 2016 season is full of promise and expectations for the Steelers who come in at 10/1 odds to win Super Bowl LI.
Pittsburgh returns the core of their team, who competed in the AFC Championship a year ago. Head Coach Mike Tomlin will be relying on key players such All-Pro QB Ben Roethlisberger and All-Pro RB Le’Veon Bell. Both players are looking to overcome their health shortcomings of a year ago and to capitalize on their success on the field.
The question mark for this team will revolve around the growth of the defensive unit. The last couple of years have been uncharacteristically inconsistent for the Steelers’ Defense. This unit will rely on 2016 draft picks Artie Burns and Sean Davis to sure up their struggling secondary.
“Potential” is the key word floating around this Steelers team. However, the success of this team will rely on Pittsburgh getting back to its trademarked hard-nosed defense. If their offensive stars can continue to shine and the defense continue to improve, the betting odds will prove to pay out for the Steelers.
