Buffalo Bills Upset Chicago Bears
NFL Week 1 started out with a bang. After the Seattle Seahawks whipped the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, the Buffalo Bills surprised us all by beating the Chicago Bears in Chicago. The Bills had 23 points to the Bears 20. The sportsbooks took a beating with the Bears loss and we look to continue this trend going into NFL Week 2.
The Buffalo Bills travel to Soldier Field to play the Chicago Bears during Week 1 of the NFL season. These two teams will face off in what will be a hardnosed, close football game. These two teams are evenly matched and this game could come down to final play. It is unclear which team will be the favorite at kick-off. Many analysts believe that the preseason of each of these teams will tell us more about their postseason trajectory.
This Sunday afternoon game starts at 1PM EST and the game will be broadcast in the USA on the Fox network. The Bills picked up Sammy Watkins, a highly touted wide receiver, with the 4th overall pick in the NFL draft. Watkins is expected to become an offensive weapon which is sorely needed by the Bills. The Bears picked up Kyle Fuller, a cornerback, with the 14th pick overall in the NFL draft. The Bears also shored up their defensive line by selecting Ego Ferguson as the 51st pick and Will Sutton as the 82nd overall pick. Bears coach Marc Trestman is widely regarded as an offensive genius and his brand of football is expected to help Jay Culter lift the Bears back into the postseason and eventually the Super Bowl.
